Pine Rustic Furniture Repair Guide
Making minor repairs on rustic furniture is very simple and fast. The following are step by step instructions for making repairs from minor cracks to cracks and gouges up to 3/8” thickness. These instructions are also based on the assumption that the surface sealer is wax based. A “wax” surface coating allows for isolated repairs which do not require the entire area be stripped or sanded. Wax coating is the primary coating used in most “rustic” furniture applications.
