These beautiful rendition paintings are among the most popular works of art from the time. There's just not enough space for us to include all the information about each of these works of art however we've tried. Scroll down to read some information about each painting. Part of the fun in collecting these will be found in learning the origins behind the artwork. Lots of rich stories and history accompany almost each one. The painting is a "mixed media" of new age Giclee prints (ink jet on canvas) and old world craftsmanship. Once each print is run on canvas it is then hand painted by a gifted artisan to make the artwork jump off the page! We all know that Tequila is made from the Agave plant. (pronounced ah-GAH-vay) Did you also know that Agave is a sweet syrup from the same plant that tequila comes from. Agave's been known for thousands of years in Mexico, where it's known as "aquamiel," or honey water. Mexicans often use it as a substitute for honey. Agave comes in light, medium and dark varieties, and it's the medium that has a special caramel-like deliciousness. Although the syrup, or nectar, is produced by many varieties of agave plant, the most common is blue agave. Some of the best Tequilas are also made from the blue agave.
