Return Policy

We understand that for whatever reason, sometimes things don't work out. Most merchandise may be returned for any reason within 15 days of delivery. Just call Tres Amigos Customer Service for complete, easy directions. Remember that we'll need an email from you to make it all official.


If not completely satisfied with your purchase, just give us a call and we'll walk through our process together. Quick tip: After your delivery arrives and you unwrap your package, make sure to keep the wrapping while you inspect your items. You may need it to return the items if you are not completely satisfied.

How to Return: Securely package your item(s) in the material provided and send the package back to Tres Amigos via a traceable method with the shipper of your choice. After we receive the items, merchandise credits and refunds will be issued to the customer of record. For damages, see our Damage Policy below.

Shipping fees and/or return shipping fees are non-refundable. Returns will not be made official until we receive an email from the customer of record. All returns will be recorded with a Return Authorization number provided by Tres Amigos. The return of regular merchandise orders can be but rarely are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The return of “custom-made” or “special order” item(s) are non-refundable. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they left the warehouse.

In-Store Return Policy

Proof of purchase is required. No returns shall be accepted on any clearance, red-tagged, and/or special order items.

All other purchases are subject to the following guidelines beginning from receipt of merchandise: Returns within 7 days shall receive a full money back refund in the same form as original payment except: Any cash refund exceeding $50.00, any debt card purchase or any purchase made by check will be refunded in the form of a check within 7 to 10 business days of the return date. All other returns up to but not exceeding 30 days from receipt of merchandise will receive a one year in-store credit. No exceptions.


Tres Amigos does an excellent job at securing your items for safe travel. You'll see what we mean when your items arrive and we're certain you'll be very happy with our packaging process. Almost every order is delivered without damage. However, from time to time, damages happen by no fault of our own. So, please read the following very carefully so that we can make sure we are able to handle these rare occurrences as easily as possible.

AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY: All deliveries should be thoroughly inspected the moment they arrive. Visible damages (e.g., dented, torn, crushed, etc.) should be brought to the delivery drivers attention and noted on the bill of lading (that piece of paper the delivery driver hands you to sign). All packing materials must be saved for inspection purposes if damages are noted. Tres Amigos must be notified of this information within 3 days of delivery.

In most cases, you won't discover damage at the time of delivery. However, it is important that you properly sign the delivery ticket. Sign the bill of lading or trip ticket (the piece of paper the driver hands to the customer to sign acknowledging delivery has been made) with the following information:


If there are damages discovered after the driver leaves, the above information will allow us to facilitate a claim for damage. All damages must be reported to Tres Amigos within 3 days of receipt of shipment. Tres Amigos will gladly replace or credit the customer of record for any losses (shipping fees are non-refundable) provided the above guidelines have been met. Customers will be asked to provide digital photos to document any and all damage. We're pretty good detectives and will be able to notice manufacturers defects, damages caused by our shipping department (sometimes it happens) and damages caused by the shipping company. After reviewing the photos provided by the customer, the customer will be made aware of their options based upon the extent of the damage. In the event the customer fails to notify Tres Amigos E-Commerce Department of any damages within the time frame above, Customer waives all rights to file a claim at a later date.


Cancellation Policy

To avoid any confusion, all cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Tres Amigos E-Commerce Department to the email listed at the bottom of this policy. Cancellations will not be accepted over the phone.

The good news is that the cancellation of “Custom-Made” or “Special Order” item(s) is possible! These cancellations will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Cancellation of an order, after the order has shipped, will be refunded within 7 days of receipt of the item(s) at the Tres Amigos warehouse and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Once charged, shipping fees are non-refundable.

Warranties and Handcrafted Goods

Tres Amigos makes no warranties expressed or implied for fitness for the consumers particular use. The customer acknowledges that the techniques used by local artisans ensure that each item is unique. The customer also understands that hand made goods are inherently imperfect and vary in size, finish and dimension. Slight cracks, warping, imperfections and color variations are inherent to each piece and are not defects. All products susceptible to pest infestation have been treated. Tres Amigos makes every effort to thoroughly inspect all goods before shipping to assure the highest level of quality.
