Cancellation, Returns & Damages

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Tres Amigos E-Commerce Department to the email listed at the bottom of this policy. Cancellations will not be accepted over the phone.

The cancellation of custom-made or “Special Order” item(s) will be subject to a 30% restocking fee provided the item(s) have not been loaded with the freight or small package carrier.

Cancellation of an order, after the order has shipped, will be refunded within 7 days of receipt of the item(s) at the Tres Amigos warehouse and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Once charged, Shipping charges, if any and once charged, are non-refundable. No exceptions.

Return Policy

Tres Amigos wants all customers to be satisfied with their purchase, however, if not completely satisfied, kindly return the item(s) within 15 days of receipt of goods and Tres Amigos will credit the customer of record for the purchase amount of the merchandise in accordance with its policies. Shipping charges and/or return shipping charges, if any and once charged, are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.

The return of regular merchandise orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

The return of custom-made or “Special Order” item(s) are non-refundable once they have been loaded with the freight carrier or small package carrier. In the rare case where Tres Amigos agrees to refund the customer for a custom-made or “Special Order” item(s), the entire order will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. No exceptions.

Returned items must arrive at Tres Amigos in the same condition as when they left the warehouse. Item(s) must be packaged appropriately and to the guidelines and specifications of the chosen carrier so as to protect during shipping. Damages

AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY: Furniture deliveries should be thoroughly inspected the moment they arrive. Damages must be noted on the bill of lading and forwarded to Tres Amigos within 3 days. Visible damages (e.g., dented, torn, crushed, etc.) should be brought to the delivery drivers attention and noted on the bill of lading. All packing materials must be saved for inspection purposes if damages are noted.

If no damage is found at the time of delivery, simply sign the bill of lading or trip ticket (the piece of paper the driver hands to the customer to sign acknowledging delivery has been made) with the following information:

“RECEIVED PENDING INSPECTION”

All damages must be reported to Tres Amigos within 3 days of receipt of shipment. Tres Amigos will gladly replace or credit the customer of record for any losses (under no circumstance will shipping charges be refunded (NO EXCEPTION!)) provided the above guidelines have been met. In the case of concealed damage, the customer may be asked to provide digital photos to document the damage, and the options made available to the customer will be based upon the extent of the damage. In the event the customer fails to notify Tres Amigos E-Commerce Department of any damages within the time frame above, Customer waives all rights to file a claim at a later date.

CUSTOMER WAIVES/FORFEITS THEIR RIGHT TO DAMAGE CLAIM IF THE DELIVERY TICKET IS NOT SIGNED CORRECTLY WITH THE WORDS “RECEIVED PENDING INSPECTION”

Warranties and Handcrafted Goods

Tres Amigos makes no warranties expressed or implied for fitness for the consumers particular use. The customer acknowledges that the techniques used by local artisans ensure that each item is unique. The customer also understands that hand made goods are inherently imperfect and vary in size, finish and dimension. Slight cracks, warping, imperfections and color variations are inherent to each piece and are not defects. All products susceptible to pest infestation have been treated. Tres Amigos makes every effort to thoroughly inspect all goods before shipping to assure the highest level of quality.
